Source
We start with premium lean beef cuts, carefully selected for consistency and quality. Every batch begins with the same exacting standards.
Slice
The beef is sliced into ultra-thin shavings — thin enough to dry efficiently, thick enough to retain texture. Precision matters at this stage.
Season
Just salt. Nothing else. The simplicity of our seasoning preserves the natural beef flavor while aiding the drying process.
Air-dry
Controlled air-drying removes moisture without heat cooking. This preserves nutrients, intensifies flavor, and creates a shelf-stable product naturally.
Package & Ship
Each batch is inspected, packaged for freshness, and shipped directly. From production to your door with minimal handling.

The air-drying process is what sets BORTS apart. Unlike heat-dried or smoked alternatives, air-drying preserves the protein structure and creates a cleaner flavor profile.
